Broadsides/Postcards
The artistic collaboration continues between Amy Haddad and Lawrence Sosso in the creation of original art in postcard format with brief quotes from poems in An Otherwise Healthy Woman (Backwaters Press, Lincoln, 2022). The postcards include quotes from the poems, Chemotherapy Side Effects, Home Assessment and Second-Degree Block and include the added advantage of being used to send a message to a friend who likes art and poetry.
Printed by Micki Pane of Creative Press and Design, each postcard is printed on durable white stock to stand up to the mailing process. Postcards will be shipped in packets of 6 (two copies of each post card.

Postcard Collection
A poetry broadside is a single poem on a single sheet of paper accompanied by artwork of some type. It is an artistic collaboration between a poet and artist. A limited collector’s edition of four captivating poetry broadsides were created by Amy Haddad and Lawrence Sosso to commemorate the publication of The Geography of Kitchens, (Finishing Line Press, Georgetown, Kentucky, 2021).
The poems, An Iris Blooms in November, Grandma’s Letters – The Kitty-Cat Clock, Hollyhock Ladies, and When to Pick Carrots, are available as captivating poetry broadsides with original artwork by Larry Sosso. Multi-media artist, Larry Sosso, earned a BFA in sculpture, painting and drawing from Bellevue University. Sosso has been a member of the Omaha art community for over 40 years. He is a founding member of the 13th Street Gallery Art Cooperative, contributed work to the Bemis Foundation Metropolitan Community Arts Council and Museum of Nebraska Art, and conducted art workshops at local museums and public schools.
Printed by Micki Pane of Creative Press and Design, each 19 X 13 print is signed by the poet and artist. They are printed on a beautiful, heavy, warm white stock. This limited series is truly a collector’s edition. Prints will be shipped in a cardboard tube.
